Botox is commonly used in the following areas:

Line and Wrinkle Treatments

Botulinum Toxin A (Commonly known as Botox ®) is a common treatment for improving and softening lines and wrinkles.

Although Botulinum Toxin can be used in a range of locations, it is most effective when used to the upper facial areas such as forehead, around the eyes, in-between brows and can also be used to achieve a brow lift.

We aim to achieve a natural look, defining your existing features, ensuring you look and feel confident.

Lip and Facial Enhancements & Augmentation using Dermal Fillers

Fillers are versatile and can be used to improve the appearance of the face due to lost collagen and therefore can be used to achieve a natural lift or used to improve the appearance of deep lines and creases. Most commonly dermal fillers are used to improve marionette, nasolabial lines and cheeks. Fillers can be used in combination with Botulinum Toxin to achieve a natural, enhanced result (For example a non-surgical facelift can be achieved)

Dermal fillers can be used for facial augmentation in areas such as cheeks, tear trough, nose. jaw, chin and under-eye area. It can also be used with botox® to achieve a non-surgical facelift. Fillers can also be applied into the hands to improve appearance of ageing.

Fillers can also be used for lip enhancement and augmentation. Results can include defining and enhancing the shape of the lips, in addition to adding volume to create fuller body to the lips. Fillers to the lips can also remove fine lines around the lips as well as removing vertical lines (Commonly known as smokers’ lines).

In keeping with our practice, we aim to create natural results, therefore we use a range of soft natural gels such as Restylane and Juvederm to achieve the desired outcome – All these are all long lasting, but temporary (It is not suitable to use permeant fillers in facial areas!) which slowly dissolves overtime. In addition, all the fillers used contain an anaesthetic, to make it as comfortable as possible during the procedure. Results are dependant to personal circumstances, however on average results last between 6-18 months.

Advanced applications of Botulinum Toxin (Botox®)

The ‘Nefertiti Lift’ (Neck and Jaw Lift)

This is a new technique which has been popular over the last few years. It involves placing multiple injections of Botox® to the lower jawline and down the side of the neck. The effect is a more defined jaw line, by relaxing the jowls and therefore providing an upward lifting effect to the neck and jaw area.

The effect lasts the same amount of time as any Botox® treatments (Approx. 3-6 months), and the is generally noticed after approximately 2-4 weeks.

Facial Slimming / Wide-Set Jaw Reduction / Masster Botox

This treatment uses Botox® to reduce the width of the jawline. Botox is injected into the ‘chewing’ muscles, which reduces the size and strength of the muscles, and allows improved facial proportions. Due to the nature of this procedure. The effects of the treatment can take approximately 6 weeks to notice the difference, but it will last for 6-9 months.

Gummy Smile

This treatment is suitable for those who when they smile, their upper lip elevates too far above their upper teeth and therefore product a ‘gummy’ smile. Sometimes to give optimal results, the use of fillers to the lip may also be suggested. Due to the muscles, a conservative amount of Botox® is injected into the muscles, which can then be repeated on review.

Treatment of ‘Smokers lines’

This treatment combines both the use of fillers and Botox® to give optimal results. Smokers lines are fine wrinkles on the upper and/or lower lip. The results are noticed after 2 weeks, and can last for 6-9 months.

Profhilo / Skinboosters / Polynuctotides

Profhilo is a brand new approach to nourishing your skin by providing deep-skin hydration. The treatment involves hydrating microinjections of Hyaluronic Acid, which is a soft, gel like substance which increases the hydration levels within the skin for long lasting moisturisation and also encourages the natural production of collagen. This improves the skin surface, by improving the skin’s firmness, elasticity and radiance. As we age the quality of hyaluronic acid diminishes over time, however it replenish this essential hydration for the long-term, by providing the skin with a youthful glow which is extremely effective of reducing the appearance of fine lines (such as smokers lines), acne scaring and realising dehydrated skin.

Profilho can be used to treat a range of areas including the neck, face, décolletage and hands.

Profhilo is usually suggested as a course, however, this will depend on the areas being treated. Initially a course of 2 treatments, 30 days apart is recommended. Once the initial course is undertaken, results can last 6-12 months, and a top of a single treatment may be required at this time interval to maintain results.

Correctional Work

Unfortunately, things can go wrong which can leave undesirable results.

Due to Jenny’s expertise and knowledge at Redefine Clinic, she is able to offer correctional treatments to improve or reverse undesirable results from other clinics and practitioners. This can include using Hyalase for fillers (Which dissolves the filler) or using Botox in advanced areas to improve the results.

Prices start from £170.00 depending on the level of correction required.
