Aesthetic Corrections

(Filler Dissolving - Prescription only medicine)

Not every aesthetic treatment produces the desired result. Whether due to the natural ageing process, changes in facial anatomy over time, product migration, previous treatment choices or unsatisfactory outcomes, there are occasions when corrective treatment may be beneficial.

At Redefine Clinic, Jenny has extensive experience in assessing and managing aesthetic concerns, providing honest advice and personalised treatment plans to help restore facial balance and achieve natural-looking results where possible.

Every correction begins with a detailed consultation and assessment to understand your treatment history, concerns and goals before discussing the most appropriate course of action.

When might aesthetic correction be appropriate?

Corrective treatment may be considered for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Unsatisfactory results from previous aesthetic treatments

  • Dermal filler migration

  • Overfilled or disproportionate features

  • Facial asymmetry

  • Lumps or irregularities following filler treatment

  • Age-related changes causing previous filler to appear less balanced

  • Changes in facial structure following significant weight loss

  • Restoring a more natural appearance

  • Refreshing or updating older treatments

Not every concern requires dissolving filler. In many cases, careful assessment and strategic treatment can achieve a more balanced result.

Dermal Filler Dissolving

Where appropriate, unwanted hyaluronic acid dermal filler can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase.

This may be recommended where filler has migrated, become uneven, been overfilled, or is no longer producing the desired appearance.

Before treatment, Jenny will carry out a thorough assessment to determine whether dissolving is the most appropriate option. In some cases, only part of the filler requires dissolving, while in others a staged approach may provide the best outcome.

Typical treatment plan

Some patients require only a single treatment, whilst others may benefit from staged correction before considering further treatment.

Typical treatment

Treatment is tailored to the amount and location of filler requiring dissolution.
